In an effort to uplift educational standards in Pakistan’s underprivileged regions, The Professional Skill Council (TPSC) is extending an opportunity for educational institutions to affiliate and receive an annual fund of PKR 100,000. This initiative targets areas where education is often overlooked due to socio-economic challenges and aims to ensure that every child has access to quality education.
Targeted Regions for Affiliation
TPSC is focusing on institutions in the following unprivileged areas across Pakistan:
– Tharparkar (Sindh)
– Kohistan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)
– Awaran (Balochistan)
– Dera Bugti (Balochistan)
– Rajanpur (Punjab)
– Dera Ghazi Khan (Punjab)
– Cholistan (Punjab)
– Neelum Valley (Azad Kashmir)
– Haveli District (Azad Kashmir)
– Kharan (Balochistan)
These regions are known for their educational challenges, and the fund aims to address these by improving the infrastructure and resources available to students.
Eligibility and Affiliation Process
To be eligible for affiliation with TPSC and receive the annual fund, institutions must meet the following criteria:
1. Minimum Student Requirement: The institute must have at least 25 enrolled students.
2. Location: The institute should be located in one of the targeted unprivileged areas listed above.
3. Contractual Obligation: The institution must enter into a contract with TPSC, and the annual fund will be provided after one year of a successful partnership. During this year, the institute must demonstrate proper utilization of initial resources and alignment with TPSC’s educational goals.
4. Fund Prioritization: The institute must prioritize the use of the fund for infrastructure development, educational resources, teacher training, and student support, as outlined by TPSC.
Legal Framework and Contractual Security
To ensure the successful and transparent implementation of this initiative, TPSC will incorporate the following legal safeguards:
– Contractual Agreement: The institution must sign a legally binding contract with TPSC, which will outline the terms of fund usage, reporting requirements, and penalties for non-compliance.
– Article of Association: Institutions must agree to adhere to the Articles of Association, which include ethical guidelines, fund utilization policies, and commitment to educational standards.
– Audits and Compliance: TPSC reserves the right to conduct audits and reviews to ensure the fund is being utilized as per the contract. Institutions failing to comply may face penalties, including termination of affiliation and recovery of funds.
– Legal Recourse: In case of any disputes or breaches of contract, both parties agree to resolve the matter through mediation, arbitration, or, if necessary, legal action as per the laws of Pakistan.
Council’s Status and Registration
It is important to note that TPSC is not a government service provider. The council operates independently and is registered under Act XXI of 1860 with the Government of Pakistan. This registration underscores our commitment to legal compliance and the integrity of our operations. While we work closely with educational institutions, our focus remains on providing targeted support to foster growth and development in underprivileged areas.
The Impact and Vision of TPSC
By offering this annual fund, TPSC aims to make a meaningful impact on the educational landscape in Pakistan’s most challenging regions. The initiative will provide these institutions with the necessary resources to improve their infrastructure, hire trained educators, and offer better learning opportunities to students. This, in turn, will contribute to the overall development of these communities and ensure a brighter future for the next generation.
How to Get Started
If you are an educational institution located in one of the targeted areas and meet the eligibility criteria, TPSC encourages you to apply for affiliation. By joining hands with TPSC, you are not only securing financial support but also becoming part of a broader movement to uplift education across Pakistan.
